Nylonwebbing materials
Nylon is probably the most commonly used webbing material in the outdoor industry and because it comes in a wide range of styles from your backpack straps to your life saving equipment in rock climbing. It is very strong and has many types. Climbers often use nylon tubular webbing in fall protection because of its high strength and elasticity. Nylon is fairly resistant to UV degradation. The polypropylene webbing material is waterproof, mildew resistant, and UV resistant.This type of webbing is also stretch resistant–even in water. It is slightly less strong than nylon but can still get many of the same jobs done successfully.
