Polypropylene webbing is very fast-color because it is made from extruded colored polypropylene rather than dyed after weaving. At the same time, it can be recycled and therefore environmentally friendly. Polypropylene webbing is not as strong as nylon and polyester in terms of strength, abrasion resistance and UV resistance. However, in some applications, its cost-effectiveness is also a good choice.
Polypropylene webbing has lower wear resistance and strength than polyester and nylon webbing. Therefore it is not suitable for load-bearing or lifting applications (such as lifting slings or fastening straps). Moreover,this webbing is more suitable for light applications.
